retromania #3 : tape on usb

Another fascinating and beautifully designed retro-cassette tape concept. This really lovely piece of technology  is a portable music player that can dock 3 USB sticks at a time. It comes with a mock USB cassette tape which can store music and be used to make "mix-tapes" just like in byegone days. More pics and details here.

Retromania is an occasional series about "cassettes" as design artefacts or as photographed by other people. Number 2 in the series is a mixtape generation cassette business card and cassette case card holder by the creative, japanese designer, Kozzy. Looks rather nice. I'd love to have a set with my name on them.
